Who Are We? Introduction to NFL Alumni Youth Football Camps

NFL Alumni Youth Football Camps continue to make a significant impact on youth football participation and community engagement across the country.

This summer, we are operating 46 camps across seven states—California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—serving nearly 3,000 children and families for 5 days and 20 to 30 hours per week.

These camps help grow the game at the grassroots level by providing accessible football experiences for boys and girls ages 6–14.

Through 140 scheduled NFL Alumni appearances, former NFL players work alongside professional high school and college coaches to deliver instruction, mentorship, and inspiration to the next generation of athletes.

Our partnerships with local high schools, colleges, park districts, youth football organizations, elementary schools, and nonprofit groups strengthen community connections while expanding opportunities for participation.

Camp curriculum emphasizes football fundamentals, athletic movement, competition, teamwork, leadership, and confidence-building for athletes of all experience levels.

The five-day camp format allows NFL Alumni members and coaching staff to create meaningful relationships with participants through consistent instruction, encouragement, and mentorship.

In addition, through financial aid and scholarship initiatives, nearly 200 children who otherwise may not have been able to attend camp have been given the opportunity to participate and benefit from the experience.

As NFL Alumni Youth Football Camps continue to expand their reach, the mission remains the same: create meaningful experiences that help young athletes develop skills, confidence, and a lasting connection to the game. By combining professional coaching, NFL Alumni mentorship, community partnerships, and accessible opportunities for participation, these camps are helping shape the next generation of athletes while making a positive impact on families and communities across the country.
