All Camps Offer Tackle Prep Sections
Within our entire Comprehensive Skills camp schedule, you may request that your child be entered into the ıTackle Prepı Section. These are non-contact camps just like the Comprehensive Skills Camps. They are classrooms within the school.
To qualify, players must be ages 11 to 14 years old and have a minimum of one year or more of tackle football playing experience.
The Tackle Prep Sections structure is very similar to Comprehensive Skills Camps. Itıs a non-contact program with individual skill development in the morning, followed by indoor classroom curriculum, followed by more team oriented, competitive games to finish the day.
Since the group is more cohesive in terms of age and experience, our coaches have a better opportunity to deliver more advanced instruction, more frequent repetitions, improved technique training, more challenging fitness drills and advanced team play concepts.
During station-based training sections, the Tackle Prep Sections will work together. Each Tackle Prep Section will have a qualified, full-time leader. That leader will manage the group with assistance from the camp Director, the entire camp staff and participating camp Heroes.
The Tackle Prep Section will join other Comprehensive Skills campers for a number of group experiences. Those combined experiences will include indoor class room curriculum, Hero interactions, lunch, some scrimmages and competitions leading up to Super Bowl Friday.
Sign up just as you would for a standard camp.
