He is having another great year at camp. His stories of the day's events last all evening. He really listens to what the coaches have to say. We could not even stop at McDonalds today for a treat! He said we had to get a healthy snack. Wow! This camp is the highlight of his summer vacation.

He is having an outstanding experience. I stayed for a while yesterday and today and I am very impressed with the camp and all of the coaches. At home we discuss sportsmanship, leadership and respect with any sport. This program is a great REINFORCEMENT to what we have taught him. He loves sports and has such a passion for football. This program is enhancing his football playing skills and techniques. I would recommend this camp to anyone, it is wonderful for the kids.

This is the third year that he has attended Packer camps and the first time for the tackle football prep camp. As much as he loved the prior camps, this one is the best yet. He comes home every day ready to show us new techniques or drills he is learning. He has so much enthusiasm for playing football -- and confidence! The staff couldn't be better. We can't wait to see the Super Bowl on Friday so he can show off the new moves! Great job again!

She is loving camp! She said that the coaches are great and really make an effort to get to know everybody. She also said that she is learning a lot of new strategies (and probably can't wait to play flag football at lunch time with the boys again when school starts!). Her favorite activities are the scrimmages and contests. She was happy to see that there was one other girl at camp when she arrived on Monday. We knew to expect few to none and she was a little nervous about that. Alyssa also shared that she caught 3 of 4 passes yesterday, so she is certainly considered a "player" like all the guys. She is feeling like she fits right in, and I know that says a lot about the leadership team.

As his Grandmother (and the main person to transport him), I am very impressed with the organizational aspects and the fact that all staff seem genuinely interested in the young people. They are patient and organized and see to it that the youngsters learn in an environment that is fun, yet competitive. When I picked him up on Monday, I asked him how it was and his reply (with high enthusiasm) was that it was far better than he could have possibly dreamed.

It is great! My son loves it and I am so thankful for the health director who knows all about food allergies and is so careful and so great at educating the boys about allergies and hand washing. Regarding the camp itself, my son is over the moon!!

On Monday, I stayed for Coach Vanden Heuval's introduction to the camp. I was beyond impressed with the coach's introduction and overview of the week. The emphasis was put on building character and having good sportsmanship & skills that can be used on and off the field for years to come. Football is competitive and although winning is important, the leadership as well as football skills that are being worked on at this camp are perfect for a 7 year old just entering the world of competitive sports. We don't need more "me" players on or off the field & we do need players who feel they are an important part of a "team," and that's exactly what's happening at this camp. Well done and thank you for your contribution to help raise athletes with strong character and leadership!

He loves camp; he can't wait to get there each day. His school has a camp this week as well, however he seems to like the format, the interaction he has with kids from other schools, and doesn't seem to mind the fact that his friends are at a different camp. He has had no problem making new friends. The big excitement yesterday was the fact that he was one of a select group to throw a football at a helmet, and if you hit the helmet your name gets put in for a drawing. He hit the helmet! I think the camp is instructional, educational and fun. He seems to be learning a lot. The autographs on his shirt and football are growing in numbers each day. We are very please with the professionalism and the manner in which the camp is run.

I can tell you he really loves it and has already asked if he can do it next year. My parents are actually taking Caleb and picking him up as he is staying with them for the week because we live in IL. My mom has commented on how organized she thought everything was and was very impressed. But from talking with my son I am very glad to have signed him up for this camp and coming to visit him tonight I can tell he just loves it.
