My son, Daniel is having an absolute blast! He is improving his individual skills while also realizing the importance of team dynamics.  He seems highly motivated to fully participate and is excited about the remainder of the week.

It's going great!  My son didn't know anyone going into the camp, and has had a really good experience so far.  He has really internalized some of the sportsmanship and life lessons being taught, as well as football skills, and for that I am most happy.  Today one of the teams he played against in a camp scrimmage lost a touchdown because of excessive celebration-- YES!!!  That is a lesson he needed to see and hear from someone besides his parents.  And Packers hero John Anderson shared a nice story about determination and never giving up.  I appreciate the excellent organization and the focus on keeping the kids healthy and safe (water breaks, trainer on site, pick-up policy, etc . . .).

I was going to drop Jarett off on Monday but instead I stayed for the day and then stayed the day on Tuesday.  I enjoyed catching the kids play and learn.  I also enjoyed talking with all the coaches and getting to know them.   Jarett had made a comment that he enjoyed
himself on Monday.  He thought it was quite interesting.  He did say that he thought it was better than Lakeland College's mini camp, however, that was only his first day so we will see by Friday if he thinks the same.   He enjoyed playing the offensive/defensive card game.   It made the children think.  It was interesting in sitting behind him that he knew what he was talking about.   He does play quarterback for his team in Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah Middle School and loved it that he was able to play that position on Monday and  threw for four touchdowns.  I laughed.    I think its good that they are making them move to other areas in a short time span.  They don't get bored that way.   It keeps them moving.

We enjoy talking to our son, every evening, over dinner regarding his day at "Packer Camp".  Yesterday, Weds., he said that it was the "best day so far" because he liked the drills and the positions of defensive line and wide receiver.  Today, he said that he today (Thurs.) was the "best day", since they ran the coaches choice drills (and he liked those new drills, too), the playoff games and the speaker - J. Gray.  Saw his brand new Super Bowl ring and he explained the significance of the details included on the ring - 4th super bowl win, the diamonds, staff designation on side, etc.  Thrill for the kids!

He is attending the Green Bay Packers Youth Football Camp in Mequon.  Jack is loving the camp -- he thinks it is great and is having a lot of fun.  I saw your email and asked Jack last night about his experience.  I even told him think of some "constructive criticism"  - he couldn't think of one thing to change.  He likes the entire staff.  He likes the drills and is learning a lot.  He particularly likes the scrimmages.  He is enjoying being at the camp with his school friends who plan to join a 5th/6th grade tackle football team in the fall at their school.  I am so appreciative that I signed Jack up for this camp -- especially given the terrible weather.  He is having a great productive week.  Jack loves being affiliated with anything Packers -- as does his family.  We plan on doing it again next summer.  Go Packers!

Thanks for asking. My son Xavier is having a great time. He is continuing to learn at the Packer Camp. This is his third year at the camp, however, it is his first time at Nicolet camp. The coaches are great by offering up techniques that each child can walk away with. I appreciate the fact that he looks forward to the next day.

Thanks for asking!  Our son, Nolan, is really enjoying the camp and says it is "even better" than last year :)  He attended the Madison camp last year and really enjoyed it, but he seems to be connecting with the coaches more this year and enjoying every minute!  An extra note of thanks for keeping an extra eye on the kids in this dreaded heat ... at this age, they tend to think they are invincible and don't need a drink or a rest.  We appreciate all of you reminding them that they do!   Have a great week and keep up the great work!

Despite the extreme heat, my son is enjoying the camp a lot.  I stayed and watched the first day and was impressed with how well run the camp was.  The coaches are doing a great job of keeping the kids watered and watered down.  My son is learning lots of new drills and is understanding how they apply to the game of football as well.

My son is having a great experience again this year in spite of the heat.  The staff is doing a stupendous job at keeping the kids hydrated and making sure they are not overheated.  This is the last year that our can attend due to the age limit, but he has made good friends, gained football skills, and enjoyed the entire experience! He especially enjoyed working with Coach Dinger, and he will be a lifetime friend as well as a mentor for our son.
Please thank all of the coaches and staff that help make this week such a huge part of the our sonýs football experience!  You never know ý hopefully one day there will be a Green Bay Packer jersey that displays the our son's last name!!!

Our 6-year-old son Casey is at the Kenosha camp and is thoroughly enjoying it.  The staff (Dave, Stan, Pete, Zach, and Jennifer) are great.  Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the game is obvious and is rubbing off on Casey already.  It's been in the 90's each day this week, but they've done an excellent job of keeping the camp going strong while still keeping a close eye on the kids' safety.
After two great years of flag fb, Casey is just getting ready to start his tackle "career", and your crew is definitely getting him ready football-wise and enthusiasm-wise!!
We're driving about 45 minutes a day each way from northern Illinois (we're diehard Packer fans stuck in Bear country) to take part in camp, and it's been well worth it so far.

Our sons are having a blast at camp again this year!  It is their third year in attendance and yesterday they even got up and were out of the house at 4:30 am so they could spend an extra 3 hours at camp and appear on the ýGood Day Wisconsiný show. Now, not only will they be better football players with better skills but I think they need an agent to handle their media career!  They were wiped out tired last night but up and ready to go again this morning.
As always, this camp is a highlight of the summer and we appreciate the opportunity so much!

I wasn't able to attend the camp this week and watch my son play and practice, but I did watch video of each day that was taken by my parents. I have to say that I am impressed with the camp and coaches. My son LOVES football and we play daily. This camp certainly has provided him a further understanding of the game and has enhanced his skills. I would recommend the camp to others.
I was pleasantly surprised that my son, Kegan, was chosen to attend the leadership game at Lambeau. I am proud of his actions and we look forward to attending.

Our son came home on Monday (and yesterday) raving about how much he "loves" camp.   He says the "coaches are great" and is learning more about football since he wants to play tackle in the 4th grade.   He talks about the scrimmages, the drills and was thrilled to meet a "real Green Bay Packer" and to get his autograph.   So very glad we got him signed up.   Mikey is very excited at the prospect of potentially winning a leadership award, too!  Great idea.

He is enjoying it very much. It seems to be well organized and very upbeat. I was able to watch all of the first day except for the video and trivia game, and I was happy with the trainers/coaches in how they handled the boys. He is having an awesome time at camp. He has grown so much on the fundamentals of the sport not just the athletic portion. Very good talks from the coaches and past players. He LOVES the camp and doesn't stop talking about it at night! The visits from current and past players is a huge plus! We just relocated to Madison so he knew no one going into this, but quickly made friends and connected with the staff as if he'd known them for years. That's a huge relief for a parent!!! The coaches are fabulous and very patient. They are teaching lifelong skills that will help kids both personally and professionally as they grow. My son, who is not that experienced in football, is having an absolute blast. From what I can tell the camp is really organized well. I think the only think I would give feedback on is a little bit more of a detailed schedule, especially when the "heroes" are scheduled to be there. For me personally, I would love to attend to see their talks as well. It would also help to understand the other scheduling pieces that are going on. But all in all, a great experience thus far. He is having a great time at the camp. He is 11 and with 2 years of Pop Warner already under his belt, we had him signed up for the accelerated program for tackle prep. This week's camp has been going great. All the coaches are really enthusiastic and love to teach us about the game of football. I also think all the kids are having a great time and learning a lot, I know I am. Unfortunately this is the last year I am eligible to go to the packer camps.
