Michael is 12 years old and he has never played football a day in his life (he plays baseball.)  I thought he was going to dread going to football camp after his first day; however, when I picked him up form camp on Monday, Michael displayed so much enthusiasm about what he learned.  He said the coaches were great and they really worked with him.  Michael could not wait to return to camp the next day.

I have to tell you that Christopher is having a GREAT time at the New York Giants Youth Football Camp.  The camp instructors are FABULOUS.  The campus at Oak Knoll School is beautiful.  Although Summit is a distance from our home, I feel comfortable dropping him off with all the staff members and security located at the school. 

Having the opportunity to listen and learn from professional NFL football players and your Coaching Staff has given Christopher something I can't express in words.  I have noticed that my son has been INSPIRED by both the Coaches and Giants players.

Troy is thoroughly enjoying his Giants Football Camp experience and comes home each day and makes a plan for what he has to go the next day to out run the running back next to him, punt the football closest to the cone or catch the most passes to get him closer to the coveted "Giants Football Helmet". He has visuals even! It's so fun to see him enjoy working so hard and still having a terrific time. He was so proud of his Best Effort award the first day and that inspired him to give 110% since. My son is having a great time at the New York Giants Football Camp.  He's told me that the counselors have been great and have been teaching him a great deal.  The camp is well run and, like everything associated with the Giants, is definitely a first class operation. 

Also - the Giants Heroes have been great with my son - so far, he's met Perry Williams, Eric Dorsey and Sam Garnes- - they all spent a lot of time with the kids and each made my son feel special.  He's looking forward to meeting Keith Elias and Bill Ard over the next two days.  All played before his time but I've given my son a Giants history lesson so he knows and appreciates what each of the Heroes have accomplished in Giants Blue.

The week is flying by - only two days left and each day, my son can't wait to get to camp.  We will definitely be back next year.

I wanted to let you know that Matthew loved the camp and is looking forward to going back next summer.  They covered a lot of material in a few days and I know the coaches kept the kids busy from start to finish. 

The coaches were very effective and did get their point across.  Matt mentioned one coach at the camp, Eric, who took the time to show him how to improve his speed.  He's been working on the techniques since then.  Matt also got a kick out of meeting the Giants.

Thomas loves the camp!  He had no football background since his father's deceased and mom and sister are his primary contacts.  We are Giants and Mets fans and try to encourage Thomas to participate in sports.  Since he is a big kid for his age he shies away from sports because kids his age can run faster than he can and he feels bad when he can't keep up.  I THANK YOU for this week. He is enjoying the staff-he compliments them daily on how kind they are and he had made new friends.  By the time he gets home (he's so excited) he can't tell me there names but describes them to a tee.  He's very IMPRESSED with there SUPER BOWL and other football rings.

Ryan is enjoying the camp very much.  The first day he and his friends were exhausted and sore.  By the second day they couldnýt wait for more and they had to go buy a Giants football for signatures.  We are very happy!

Let me be the first to tell you that my son, David Albert Brown is having a wonderful, tiring, full learning experience. Everyday he looks forward to the next. The first night for him was an Epson Salt bath night (but he loved it)! Please let me know if you have any other functions in the area that he can participate in. We appreciate the experience!

Joseph is enjoying himself and has asked if he could continue going after this week. Your staff is amazing and  they all work so well with all the boys and together. I hope that the New York Giants camp returns to Iona Grammar next year, I know many parents that wish they have put their sons into the camp, and would do so if you return next summer. I know I will, and Joseph will be thrilled. Thanks to you and your staff for making Joseph's first experience with football a memorable one!

Matthew had a wonderful experience at camp. He was in the oldest group and thought it was the greatest. He has been playing football since he was five. He seems to have been born with a football in his hands and knows all the stats of players from years ago to the present.  Giants fan forever!
