Our Coaches: Photos and Philosophy

“We want to build a sense of team.  That’s important.  The kids should feel responsible for each other.  It creates a better camp atmosphere.”

“We teach all playing positions to all kids. The camper that everyone assumes is destined to be a lineman might become the star quarterback.”

“We feel a responsibility to the Eagles Camp Heroes that join us. We have a responsibility to properly represent them.”

“You have to make the idea come alive to the kids.  If we can impress their mind and give them enough chances, they will get it.”

“When the kids really work hard and see the value in making an effort–that’s a big moment for us as coaches.”

“It’s gotta be fun! I have fun. The kids feed off of that.”

“The kids do not know the Heroes before the camp.  After they meet from them, learn from them and hear their stories, they become Heroes for the kids.”
