I must tell you that he was a little nervous before he went and did the "I do not want to go in the morning tantrum." He came home from his first day and spent an hour telling me about the coach, the work out made him feel healthy again, he will need to eat a lot of vegetables, he likes his new jersey, then he says......mom I don't know...I still might be able to be in the Olympics someday! The coach must be doing all the right things to take that first day jitters away. He was really happy when he came home.

He is loving Blackhawks camp! My husband and I are very impressed as well with the organization of the camp. We feel we are informed of what he does during the day and I so much appreciated the letter we received the week before camp. It was nice to know what he needed to bring to camp (lunch, water bottles, change of clothes etc...) instead of guessing what he might need during the day as we have done this with another hockey camp he attended this summer.
