GENERAL BUS INFORMATION
Round-trip, door-to-door bus service is available to all campers within our bus pickup zones. See the bus pickups zones here.

COST  
-$100 for 5-day door-to-door pickup and drop-off service.

SPECIFICS
-Round trip door-to-door bus service provided by American Bus Company.
-You will be provided a specific time for pick-up.
-School bus style buses. 

BUS RIDER POLICIES AND SAFETY NEEDS
-In the event of an anticipated absence, please phone the Chicago Blackhawk Youth Hockey Camp office as soon as possible.
-Be on time at the designated camp bus stop. Help keep the bus on time.
-Stay off the street at all times while waiting for the bus.
-Be careful in approaching the place where the bus stops. Do not move toward the bus until it has made a complete stop.
-Buses will have seat restraints. Please instruct your children that they must be used.

PLEASE REVIEW THESE RULES
-Do not leave your seat while the bus is in motion.
-Be alert to any signal from the driver.
-In the event of an emergency, remain in the bus until instructions are given by the driver.
-Keep hands and head inside the bus at all times after entering and until leaving the bus.
-Do not throw anything out of the bus windows.
-Remember that loud talking and laughing, or unnecessary confusion diverts the driver's attention and could result in a serious accident.
-Be absolutely quiet when approaching a railroad crossing.
-Treat bus equipment as you would valuable furniture in your own home. Never tamper with the bus or any of its equipment.
-Help keep the bus safe and clean at all times.
-Keep backpacks, jackets and all other objects out of the aisles.
-Take your belongings with you when you leave the bus. Do not leave anything behind.
-Be courteous to fellow campers, counselors and bus drivers.
-Help look after the safety and comfort of smaller campers.
-Do not ask the bus driver to stop at places other than the regular bus stop, he is not permitted to make unscheduled stops.
-While in transit, you are under the jurisdiction of both the bus driver and bus captain.
