PARENTS COMMENT ON THEIR CHILDREN'S Our son had a wonderful time. The coaches were excellent and he really enjoyed the whole experience of getting to know kids from other areas. However, the most memorable thing was how GREAT all the coaches were to the kids. I felt like they really liked the kids and took the time to get to know them as a person and a skater. This was the most memorable thing for Jake. This is a great program, on and off the ice! Outstanding! Our daughter had a great time. They gave her a locker room for herself and made her feel as much in the group as anyone. They did a great job and I think she learned a lot. Our son is Emerson Kovich and he is 9 years old. I don't think he'll ever forget this past week. We're thankful for both Glacier and the Blackhawks for providing this opportunity. He had a blast! It was absolutely a good camp! He improved his stick skills for sure. M. Hlinka I was very impressed with the coaches. They were there for the kids. My son is very enthusiastic about it and looking forward to next year. The camp really helped Truman with his backward skating. This was a very well-run camp. I was very impressed. You and your staff helped Elliott, and the rest of the family, have a "forever memory." Hope to see you again, next summer. All the coaches were great with the kids. Each one is to be commended. The camp schedule was well balanced and organized. He said that Darren Pang helped him with his stickhandling technique for goaltenders. He talked about it every day. He said he really liked all of the coaches, he said "they're great", especially the goaltending coach and Darren Pang This was Michael's 4th or 5th Blackhawk camp. I think he really liked this one the most because he talked a lot about the activities and said that it was a real workout but a lot of fun. He really enjoyed Darren Pang's help with his goaltending advice and techniques. My son loved the camp. He likes it better than football and he loves football. He will definitely go back. My son Gary Barbera was six years old and this was his first camp experience. We were very impressed with the entire camp, the coaches were wonderful, the daily activities were great, my son learned a lot during the week and we will definitely sign on again. Thank you. The coaches were all great, very helpful, very knowledgeable. Randy Jordan, you are great! It was very well organized and we are already planning for next year. She had a blast. Thanks. You all help keep her enthusiasm for the sport she loves. Our son has had so much fun this past week at Glacier with the Blackhawk clinic. Monday he said "it was great!". Tuesday he said "it was awesome!" And Wednesday he said "I love it!. My son learned many things like how to take a hit, shoot better, better stickhandling and how to play with the big kids. Most memorable were the people he met and the fun! Randy was excellent. He has a very good demeanor with kids and they respond well to him. My son's progress with basic skills and understanding was excellent. I thought that the video session were very helpful. Zach's most memorable event was the games. I thought the mixture of drills and fun were very good. The coaches really praised our boys for their positive attitudes and desire to come "ready to play." I want them to know that that meant a lot to hear them say this. As a parent it's often difficult to teach kids the right values and work ethic, but I think our boys proved to us as parents that we've done something right. It's just nice to hear it from other people once in awhile! Thanks so much! Making progress and having fun are the most important things to deliver. Based on what my son reported I think these were provided. My son had a great time and met some of the boys he plays against during the regular season. This is his second year at this camp and will most likely be back again next year. Fotis had a great time. He learned lot and had a lot of fun. He would like to do it again next year. Thanks for all the coaches efforts.
John had a great time & loved the camp. I felt he was well prepared for the upcoming hockey season by participating in this camp. He loved the competition, scrimmages, & games on the last day. Sam LOVED the camp. It was everything we expected. Jonathan had a wonderful week. I thought your warm and welcoming personality was great. It was the right balance of technique with fun. Troy, as always, was great with the kids and really brings back the fun element back to hockey which, quite frankly, most coaches don't know how to do. I did enjoy all the coaches that you had during the week. We will be back. My son, Matt, had a very good experience. I'm grateful for the coaches hard work and their passion for working with the campers. Thanks again. Tommy Cahill loved camp. Each morning he couldn't wait to go back. Thanks for a great experience. Count on us for next year! That program was truly fantastic. My son Ethan had the best time and cannot wait to do it again. Thank you for such a positive experience.
