Beyond Youth Football Camp Skills
It’s more than a job. For coaches on the youth football camp field, it’s a challenge, a blast and a passion.
Yes, we are about teaching football skills. But the real payoff for everyone involved occurs when the instruction goes far beyond the fundamentals of running, throwing, catching and defending in football.
That is why we deeply appreciate the numerous emails we receive that give our coaches a pat on the back.
Saying “good work” is essential when coaching kids. It’s also important for coaches to hear it and that is sincerely appreciated.
Here are just a few compliments we received this week–literally just a few of the 200 highly positive comments sent to us.
For these, we say “thank you–we appreciate the opportunity.”

“Just want to let you know that my ten year old son is very much enjoying his Packer camp in Madison, WI that is going on right now. He shares with me what he has learned and also lets me know how much fun he is having. A good combination for a summer camp.” – Pete T, Madison, WI (Green Bay Packers)
“My son is having the time of his life. He loves his time there and can’t wait to go back tom. He sleeps very well at night!! He is a tired boy and works hard. “He’s loving it and has made some new friends already. I’m especially impressed with the encouragement and finess offered by Couch Chris with position specific coaching on punting and kicking. All the boys seem to be showing good sportsmanship and that makes it all the more worthwhile. He really looks forward to the mini-games/competitions and hero visits. On a scale of 1-10, he gives this camp a 10! Thanks for all you do:)” – Julie M, New Canaan, CT (New York Giants)
“So far my son has been very enthusiastic and has much to talk about. He thinks he will look like the incredible hulk if he keeps doing the workouts.” – Lara J, Bryn Mawr, PA (Philadelphia Eagles)
“My son is having an awesome time! He got his t-shirt autographed and didn’t want me to wash the shirt, too funny he is! The coaches are so encouraging, professional and very polite. I am so gracious for this opportunity and I am sure that my son will remember this for a lifetime. Thank you soo much, Pro Sports!” – Teisha G, Bryn Mawr, PA (Philadelphia Eagles)
“I just wanted to say my son absolutely LOVES the camp. He actually went last year to {a different football camp} and he said he defiantly liked the Eagles Camp by far. Ian is enrolled in Eagles Camp in Berwyn Upper YMCA Main Line next week and Eagles Camp in West Chester in July. Ian is a very motivated child and loves football and we are very happy with the camp. ” – Mattie R, Bryn Mawr, PA (Philadelphia Eagles Youth Football Camps)
