Chicago Bears Play 60 All Sports Camps
GET OFF THE BENCH AND PLAY 60!
Play 60 is all sports action and team games–all the time. It’s a two-week summer sports camp directed by the Chicago Bears.
Each location offers two consecutive weeks (that’s 60 hours!) of non-stop game action in all major sports.
It’s about getting in the game, developing confidence, improving athletic skills, staying active and most importantly having fun.
And it’s more than just football! Weekly activities include great team sports including flag football, basketball, soccer, floor hockey, lacrosse and wiffle ball. We also deliver the classics like dodgeball, capture the flag, kickball, home run derby and ultimate football.
Cool coaches make it fun! While our leadership develops athletic skill and confidence in each camper, they are sure to display a sense of humor and make the day entertaining as well. Let’s play hard, play fair and remember that it is just a game!.
Celebrity heroes make it fun too! Look for famous sports athletes to drop by our Play 60 Tournament Days. Each will bring some good coaching tips, life skill messages, encouragement and energy to the program. And you can probably get an autograph too!
But it’s only fun if we do it right. That means we must require a positive, team-oriented atmosphere where sportsmanship, good will, respect and friendships prevail. Our professional educators, coaches and sports heroes will deliver the life skill lessons you expect and your child deserves.
PLAY 60 SPORTS TOURNAMENT DAY
Each week, four camp locations gather for the Play 60 Tournament Day! This Round Robin Tournament structure brings all camps together at one location. It’s game-on and there’s action for everyone! This creates a great atmosphere for team building, competitive energy and excitement as we create “friendly sports rivals” among each Play 60 Sports Camp location.
FIELD TRIP DAY
On one occasion, each camp location hits the road for an exciting adventure. The getaway locations may include a special opportunity provided by the Chicago Bears. We are still working on details and we would certainly take suggestions for what you would like to do most. This adventure creates another exciting activity that strengthens friendships and creates great summer memories.
ABOUT THE TRAVEL
Bears Youth Camps will provide bus service for day trips. All busses will be chaperoned by staffers with a professional, screened driver leading the way.
