My son is having a good time at the camp; I hope that he is learning things that he can use both on the field and off. Since I currently coach a grammar school team, I would like to be kept in touch with for any kind of youth coaching clinics or advice on coaching that you may have.
Steve H. (parent of Mokena Camper)
I have both sons at the camp this week in Glenview. Things are going great. The boys love it, as I expected. It was wonderful for them to see their good friend Kris H. yesterday, too. They have learned a great deal already and the week is not over. The head trainer has been wonderful and seems like he has both the attention and the respect of the kids.
Linda N. (parent of Glenview Camper)
He is having a great time! He loves learning the drills and has really liked meeting the players. Also, thanks for ensuring that the kids are safe during this weather. I'd highly recommend the camp!
Ann H. (parent of Libertyville Camper)
He's having a blast and said he's learning a lot! He said the coaches are great and really funny. Thanks so much for making his experience a memorable one!
Kim L. (parent of Naperville Camper)
He has never played football on a team before but he wanted to try it this fall. That is why we signed him up for this camp. He is having a great time. He really enjoys it. He never even complained on Monday when it was so hot.
Nancy S. (parent of Libertyville Camper)
I have to tell you that he can't get enough of it. He absolutely loves it. He said he wants to go to it every year and maybe for two sessions a year. He also said he loves the coaches and hopes he gets them again. He loves the visits with the surprise pro players. We were so happy to find out about your camp. I am also extremely happy that my son just can't get enough of it. I look forward to 3:30 everyday when he get's home and tells me all about the day he had.
Nancy M. (parent of Schaumburg Camper)
He is having a great time! Thanks for your efforts and all of the instructors.
Kerri (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He seems to be having a good time. This is his first intro to football and he is learning the fundamentals. He will be trying out for the LV boys club team next week. So he can bring these skills with him.
(parent of Libertyville Camper)
Excellent! He called me at work after he got home from the first day of camp and he was so excited and upbeat it was amazing. I thought I would get a call from an exhausted kid because of the extreme temperature but he was so pumped up and happy it made me feel as great as he did. One of the first things he said was that he wants to go back next year. Each night he tells us everything he has learned and demonstrates his new skills and moves. Also, I like that the camp explained about nutrition and getting enough of the right fluids. These are things we always stress at home but for some reason coming from the Bears camp it holds more weight than just mom and dads words. This will be his first year with the Glenview Jar. Titians team and I think the camp was an excellent choice to help him prepare for his upcoming practices. Thank you for providing a memorable summer experience for our son.
Ayuko H. (parent of Glenview Camper)
Good feedback from him, positive attitude and pumped to go the next day.
Dave & Carla S. (parent of Naperville Camper)
He is enjoying camp so far -- he loves football!!!! Thanks.
(parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
Best thing I ever did... he is having a blast . I will sign him up next year also.
Marcus B. (parent of Glenview Camper)
He loves the football camp. Everyone, especially Mickey Pruitt, is very enthusiastic. This seems to be a high energy place, which is perfect for boys. He is pretty tired when I pick him up, and usually I like to pick him up early from camp, but he asked me not to--he wants to stay till the very end. Yesterday I thought it was great that the boys played football in the rain, just like the pros play. This is a great experience for him, and hopefully he can have more camp experiences like this. He absolutely loves football, so this is a perfect camp for him.
Leslie A. (parent of Evanston Camper)
He seems to be enjoying himself. He always has a big smile on his face when I pick him up at the end of the day. He was a tad disappointed when he realized that most of the camp would focus on fundamentals and drills as opposed to just playing football. But now he realizes that without the fundamentals you can't be a very good football player. He likes his coaches especially the one named Dot. Overall, I'd say he likes the camp and thinks it'll help him when he signs up to play football this fall.
Frank F. (parent of Glenview Camper)
He said he has liked the camp and has had a lot of fun. He enjoyed meeting the players and getting autographs and learning drills. He also enjoyed the videos. All in all he is enjoying it. Thank you.
Debra (parent of Libertyville Camper)
He is having a great time! Thank you for giving him the opportunity to participate in your camp. He comes home telling us - and showing us - what he's learned. We look forward to the next time he'll be at the Chicago Bears Football Camp.
John and Marci C. (parent of Glenview Camper)
My son is enjoying himself. He is tired at night, and he does seem to be learning things about football.
Kathy J. (parent of Downers Grove Camper)
He is enjoying his time there. He's been playing for many years but he says he's still learning things. He was hoping to see his ex-coach, Robin Earl, but hasn't yet. He is liking the agility/speed training.
Bobbi L. (parent of Libertyville Camper)
He has been having a great time! He always looks forward to spending a week with the Bears at camp each summer. This has been a really good week for him, not only because he loves football so much, but because this summer two of his friends from St. Mary's School have joined him this year. He hopes that next summer more of his teammates will join in. Thanks for providing the kids such a great experience!
Manetta (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
The experience he is receiving at this camp is well worth the cost. First the coaches that are working with the kids are fantastic. The attitude of each coach is very upbeat, inspirational and dedicated. The lessons that they are teaching has brought on a new confidence to him. He looks forward to each morning with eagerness. The importance of hydration and nutrition was never stressed enough through his 3 1/2 years of football playing and with the help of this program, he is more conscious of these facts. The players showing up in the week has of course been the most en-lighting in his opinion. We hope that this program is brought back to the area each year and we have passed on good reviews to many neighbors, friends and family members.
Jim (parent of Mokena Camper)
He says that he is having a very enjoyable time at the camp and he is learning a lot. I expect that he and his younger brother will participate next year. Thank you for the well run program.
Jerry C.(parent of Glenview Camper)
He is having a wonderful time at Bear's Camp. He has enjoyed working with the experienced and friendly coaches. He especially enjoyed the competitions and obstacles courses. He was thrilled to be picked to run through the tackling dummies into the enzone while being sandwiched, he made it sound as though he flew through the air. He has enjoyed meeting professional athletes and hearing about their experiences in the world of sports. Winning ice-cream treats and an autographed photo of the coach were especially motivating and appreciated. Lucas has come home everyday and excitedly told us about all of the day's activities. Thank you for a great week!
Lisa G. (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He absolutely LOVES the football program. He comes home so excited. He can't wait to show us the training moves and even told his dad how "professionals" hold the ball. He is definitely going to sign up again next year and maybe even do more weeks. It's been terrific. He developed a passion for football last fall when we signed him up at the park district in Glenview, and since then he wants to go to all the Bears games and play all the time. Somehow we did get him to two games last season, one of which was on the coldest night of the season. He stayed until the end.
Carolyn (parent of Glenview Camper)

I just wanted to let you know that he loves this camp. He really enjoys all the drills, the guest speakers and especially the games. He always has a smile on his face when I pick him up. Thanks for making it a great experience.
Pam (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He is really enjoying himself and gaining some great football experience.
Bill H. (parent of Libertyville Camper)
Each day that passes he gets more and more out of this. But, he has loved the input from Bear's alumni and is really excited about tomorrow's deal with the various "awards". He says he has learned alot and seems to be really in the zone with it now.
Laura R. (parent of Arlington Heights Camper)
He is having a great time. He loves doing all the workouts and listening to the guest speakers. Coach Earl is doing a terrific job running the camp.
Cindy (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
It sounds like he's learning and having fun in the process. That's what it's all about. I think this experience should help him when the football season starts in August and hopefully some of the things he has learned will transfer over to Wrestling when that starts up in September. Thanks again and hopefiully we'll see you next year.
Steve M. (parent of Downers Grove Camper)
They said they wanted to teach my husband some of the things that they have been learning. Of course the visits from the ex-Bears are very exciting for them. It is a great experience and we are glad you have brought the camp to Glenview.
Melissa I. (parent of Glenview Camper)
He's having a great time. It seems that this is his best camp experience ever.
Nancy (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He absolutely loves football camp. The coaches have great energy and enthusiasm for the sport. It's infectious, he has really enjoyed the coaches, making friends and learning new skills. So far it has been a fabulous experience.
Michelle (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
He is absolutely loving the football camp!! He is a huge Chicago Bears fan and he hopes to play for them someday so this has been a great opportunity for him. We are from Minnesota and as far as I know they do not have anything like this for the kids, so it is great that you guys do this. Although we are not Vikings fans, so we probably wouldn't do it there anyways. We will definitely be back for many many more years. Thank you very much!
Stephanie K. (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
I have two sons in the football camp. I think it has been a great experience for them. It has been especially fun because their friends are at the camp with them. They really love the game of football. Their Dad is crazy for football and a die hard Bears fan. Go Bears!
Kathy P. (parent of Glenview Camper)
Thank you for asking. He is apparently having a great time! I know I'm sounding like all those testimonials posted on your website, but the fact is each day when my wife goes to pick him up, he's smiling ear to ear. He never talks too much about the details of what they do or what he liked, but today he made an exception. There was a red zone drill, where each player had to act as quarterback, pump fake, sprint to one side and then dive through some coaches holding pads to get a touchdown. My description may not be accurate, but that's all I could get from him. Anyway, he just loved it. Frankly, I wish I could watch and learn, myself, so that I know what they're teaching him. When we start football practice in another three weeks or so, I'd like to avoid contradicting things he may have been taught in this program. Regardless what is being taught, though, he is definitely enjoying the hell out of it. Your coaches (and heroes) must be very good with the kids. Thanks.
Mike (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He is loving camp! He reenacts his day from the "grenade" victory dance to the visits from the "heros" to the drills. He went to the camp not knowing a soul, but feels welcome and is making friends. I recommend the camp to all of my friends.
Elizabeth S. (parent of Willmette Camper)
Thanks for letting me tell you how much he is enjoying Bears camp! By far it is his favorite camp we have chosen for the summer. Thanks again for a terrific week.
Laura G. (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
So far he seems to enjoy it. I thought he might of been discouraged, being he is the oldest one there, but he says he likes it. Thanks again.
Becky (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
His experience has been fabulous! He has come home every night exhausted but completely exhilarated by his experiences. Our main goal with this camp is for him to be introduced to the game and to develop a love for it. Thanks again!
Mike and Leisa N. (parent of Libertyville Camper)
He is having a great time at the football camp especially the bears heroes that came in to speak and sign for the boys. The coaches are very good teachers and role models for the boys. Thank you and we will talk again next year.
(parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
He can't say enough good things about the Chicago Bears Football camp!!!! He said all of the coaches are great, especially Coach Taylor. He only wishes the camp were 2 weeks instead of 1.
Lisa R. (parent of Mokena Camper)
He has enjoyed this week. I asked him what he liked most, and he said the drills with the dummies.
Cindy S. (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)

He loves it! Everyday he comes home soooo excited and telling me all the great plays he made! He is very tired by the end of the day!!!! He is having a blast with all the cool coaches and he has made some new friends too! Thanks for making this a great experience for him.
Caroline (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
He has really enjoyed the camp....he tells me about his whole day every night when he comes home....I stopped by today and he was again having fun. Thanks for your interest.
Mike (parent of Libertyville Camper)
He has had great experience. The camp is exactly what we wanted for him because this will be his first year of football. He is learning the proper techniques from pros, instead of being tossed into the fire. He loves it !!
Nick G. (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
He seems to be enjoying it quite a bit. The first day of camp was tough, but now I know what to expect and it is great! I have learned a lot from the coaches and I really like hearing from ex-Bears about their experiences and their careers. Thanks.
Jordon (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He said that he is really enjoying himself again this year. He really loves to be at football camp. I am very happy with the bus service also.
Kelly H. (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
He loves the camp. He has already inquired about attending next year. We are very impressed by how organized it is and how friendly and knowledgeable the staff are. It has been a great experience for him. Thanks for all of your efforts. Have a good day.
Rich R. (parent of a Northfield Camper)
He thinks it's real fun. He especially loves the scrimmage that is played at the end of each day. I liked the fact that the group wasn't huge!
Diane (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
He is LOVING it!! He feels he is improving his skills and is inspired to continue playing. He has also been very excited about the Hero visits.
Julie L. (parent of Northfield Camper)
So far so good he is having a great time and feels that the all day camp will help him a lot. He is a little sore though since he hasn't used those muscles in a long time. Thanks for bringing the all day camp out this way. The turn out is great and all of the kids seem to be having a great time.
Neal B. (parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
He's loves it! Comes home tired, but does not complain.
Marianne (parent of Downers Grove Camper)
The boys really enjoy the camp and the program seems to right up their alley.
Linda B. (parent of Northfield Camper)
He sure gives camp a thumbs up. He is enjoying himself and learning new skills--he has never played organized football. From my perspective, it seems well run and very organized and I appreciated receiving the camp schedule.
Carol (parent of a Elmhurst Camper)
I have been very impressed with the camp. The coaches have been very professional, friendly and positive. Even the fact that I'm getting this e-mail sets a high standard for your camp. He has had a great time. When I picked him up today, he even wanted to sprint to the car. He can't wait to sign up for next summer. Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience for him.
Laura (parent of a Northfield Camper)
He absolutely loves it!!! He talks non-stop about everything he did the moment I pick him up.
Helen (parent of Arlington Heights Camper)
He is having fun. He's excited about going every morning. The week has gone by so fast.
Kelly T. (parent of Chicago Camper)

So far he loves camp. "It's awesome"
Renee (parent of Barrington Camper)
He could not be happier. He just finished a White Sox camp and says this camp is 10000 times better. We will be back again for sure!!
Marie M. (parent of Northfield Camper)
He has really enjoyed the camp. He's confidence has grown with each day actually catching a couple of TD passes yesterday. He's really looking forward to the superbowl tomorrow. The staff has been great and very supportive.
PCQ (parent of Chicago Camper)
He is LOVING camp. This is the first time he has gotten to do anything like this as he has that pesky sweating condition I was telling you about. The coaches have been wonderful with him about letting him get drinks if he needs to. All the pros have been very nice too and have signed his football. For sure we will be doing this again next summer!
Jennifer B. (parent of Barrington Camper)
He has loved camp this week. He has just about memorized the media guide and feels that his skills are so good now he'll be drafted any moment. Seriously though, we have been very happy with the experience and hope to participate again next year.
Katie F. (parent of Arlington Heights Camper)
He is enjoying the camp along with two of his friends. He is learning a lot and having a great time.
Linda (parent of Barrington Camper)
My son is actually staying with my parents for the week in Huntley. I have talked to him everyday and he is having a great time. He was very excited to go to the camp. This camp was well worth the money. Thank you.
(parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
Yesterday all I could get out of him was that it was fun and he was tired. Today we got better stories about relay races and movies after lunchıIım glad that you include education regarding nutrition and health along with the coaching of physical skills. You're teaching him things that will help him in many ways in addition to football skills.
Brian M. (parent of Barrington Camper)
They are having a great time! Especially loving the celebrity drop-ins from Bobby Douglass and Allan Ellis! What a treat for these kids! Thanks!
Katie & Marty B. (parent of Northfield Camper)
He loves it. It's been a great experience for him. Thanks!
Diane (parent of Burr Ridge Camper)
He said its fun we play games a lot I like that. When he gets off the bus he has a big smile on his face. That is generally a good sign considering he is usually non-committal.
Kelly M. (parent of Barrington Camper)
He is enjoying camp thus far. He is a pretty athletic guy yet football is the one sport that we have not let him play in an organized fashion. He loves the sport, as do we, and we play a lot together. The camp is a great way to get him exposed to the game and he is really enoying it, including showing me tonight how to take a handoff correctly and drop back as a quarterback to throw a pass.
Pam (parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
He is having the "time of his life!" In fact, he just called me on the cell to go over play by play detail. I'm looking forward to being back in town on Friday for the big game! The team concept really works well for him.
Priest (parent of Downers Grove Camper)
He is having a great time.
John K. (parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
It's going great - he loves it! He's totally excited about today's Bears autographs and says that he's learning a lot.
Karen (parent of Barrington Camper)
He is having a great time at Bears Football Camp, and especially because it is day long camp. We (his parents) are very happy with the fact that he can experience a good camp without having to go overnight somewhere, and we come by each day for a while and watch.
Lynn and Dan H. (parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
He said he really likes the camp so far. He is enjoying himself, except for the aches in the morning!!
Marilee L. (parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
He is having a lot of fun at camp, and says that he is glad that he is really being pushed in the workouts.
Mark S.(parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He thinks the camp is "awesome". It is the highlight of his summer! I am so glad that he is there! He is visiting with his father today and tomorrow, and unfortunately, his father won't bring him to camp from Schaumburg. He will be back on Thursday. He has already determined that he wants to be a wide receiver or a kicker (put those old soccer skills to work!)
Laura (parent of Crystal Lake Camper)
So far it's going well and he has given me positive feedback. Thank you.
Mike I. (parent of Evanston Camper)
He is just loving football camp. He comes home with all positive things to say and fun stories to tell. He is looking forward to what the next day at camp will bring. So keep up the good work and also the bus service, from a parents perspective, as been wonderful. I'm impressed that on the first day of camp the bus was exactly on time.
Sharon G. (parent of Lake Forest Camper)
My son has really enjoyed camp and has had a very positive experience. It has been a well run and very professional camp that really has focused on positive reinforcement. Hopefully this helps.
Brian (parent of Downers Grove Camper)
He is enjoying the class very much. Thank you.
Mark (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
He loves the camp!
Linda (parent of Lake Forest Camper)
Both of my boys have been enjoying camp. So far, so good!
Catherine (parent of Evanston Camper)
He is having a great time at camp. He has been talking about it non-stop. I have never seen him so enthused about a sports camp like he is at this one. He loves the drills, the scrimmages, and meeting past Bear players. (He really thinks that is cool). I asked him how he is dealing with the heat and he said it's not hot! He likes all the coaches, especially coach Harris and coach Pete. Thanks for the great camp!
Amy H. (parent of Arlington Heights Camper)
Thanks for writing! He seems to love what he is going through.. all he hopes is that they play a game everyday! He's energized every day that I pick him up.. so thanks alot.
Mark G. (parent of Evanston Camper)
He is absolutely loving his Bears camp experience. We are so glad he's having such a good time and getting to chance to learn new skills and meet good people. We couldn't be more pleased!
Terri (parent of Lake Forest Camper)
He is enjoying himself at the Barrington Football camp. He is also anxious to play in the Camp Super Bowl on Friday.
Jorge (parent of Barrington Camper)
So far so good. He seems to be coming home happy and excited about going back the next day. Before starting camp he thought he knew everything about football and after his first day, he said he learned a lot, in a positive way.
Diana Achim (parent of Evanston Camper)
He loves the camp. Hot, but loves it.
Kristie Z. (parent of a Lincolnshire Camper)
I think he is really enjoying camp so far.
Julie S. (parent of Evanston Camper)
He had a great time at camp. He had a lot of good things to say about all of the coaches. Thanks again and hopefully he will be there next year.
Jacqui T.(parent of Arlington Heights Camper)
So far he likes it. I am glad we enrolled him. I think it's a great way to see if football is something he really could or want to excel in. This is really his first real experience with it.
Karen (parent of Evanston Camper)
Our son really enjoyed the Chicago Bears Youth Football camp. He is only 7 years old, but he was able to grasp the concepts that were taught to him and he was also able to tell his Mom and Dad a few interesting facts about fast food. He was really excited when he was named one of the camp's MVPs. We look forward to future Bear's camps and look forward to our upcoming trip to Soldier Field.
Cheryl & Frank C. (parent of Downers Grove Camper)
After a lot of apprehension about going to camp without his friend who broke his arm, he had a great first day. He couldn't say enough good things and had lots of fun.
Amy (parent of Evanston Camper)
So far I think it's going well. He comes home very tired everyday. I'm glad to have him experiencing his introduction to the sport at the camp. He said that it's hard work but he is still excited about attending. He even told his Grandpa that he wants to go back next year.
Tina (parent of Naperville Camper)
The Evanston Youth Football Camp has been an awesome experince for him!!! His direct coach for his age group, Mickey Pruitt, has been very attentive to Harrison and ALL the other 6 and 7 year olds in the group. Coach Pruitt also has clearly had A LOT of experience with youth and youth development (he sent him with the 8 year olds because he is "big" for 6). As an Evanstonian, former Olympic runner and coach of 10 years and former teacher in District 65, I know that patience is VERY important when teaching the youth of today. Coach Pruitt also introduced himself to me and got "down" to my son's eye level to greet himself to our son. Very professional! ! ! He talks about his experience to his entire family and I am certain that this camp will have a lasting affect on his life. His 'camp' qoute for today, "Mommy, Coach said that I did an good job when I caught the football".
Renee (parent of Evanston Camper)
He's been having a great time. He told me that on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being "totally awesome") he gave it a 10!
Dora (parent of Glenview Camper)
