Bears Chairman McCaskey Kicks Off Youth Camps

Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps opened the season in Chicago’s Lincoln Park with 100+ kids and a cool breeze down by the lake.

After early morning skills, coaches introduced Chicago Bears Chairman George McCaskey to the campers.

McCaskey welcomed the group and fielded some great questions about Bears football.

McCaskey was very pleased to meet a young camper named “Payton”–named after the great Walter Payton.

Additional Chicago Bears Heroes scheduled to visit camp include Fabien Bownes (WR) and Robin Earl (RB).   The camp is directed by Chicago Bears Alumni Hero Mickey Pruitt (LB).

Mr. McCaskey, Community Relations Director Caroline Schrenker and Matt Simeone (Youth Football & Alumni Coordinator) will visit camps throughout the summer.
